South Asian Parent feels lucky to have your support.
My first therapy session was in a cold unfriendly office, and my therapist only looked up at me momentarily before proceeding to scribble away her observations on her notepad.The idea of conventional treatment had me running for the hills.
As a Pride Parade virgin, this year’s attendance on my part was a revelation. I was surprised to see only a handful of South Asian faces dotted randomly throughout the multicultural crowd. They were shall we say, mute spectators?
